Let me ask you this: if an entire aussie rules football team decided to visit the resort would you like to be their mood manager? *presses laugh button*

av98m SG

maybe I should go for a meet the mp session and rant about en-bloc sales and not being able to buy DVDs from amazon.com Laughing

fudgester SG

Nah.... what are the odds that he'll actually follow up on your feedback? Laughing

Meia Gisborn SG

Better play it safe and dun do that. Skeli you kena detained after the session by the ISD on the charge of "spreading discontent." Shocked

If you really want the DVD, why not ask VK to buy the box set for you and bring it back when she returns to SG later this month? Very Happy

av98m SG

I don't expect him to.

But it'd be fun to rant and watch his facial expression Laughing

And if my superiors find out what I did I'd be dead

av98m SG

I look around locally first. skarli got shop bring in, esp since this is by bandai usa. Laughing

I got the appleseed movie and its frikking fantastic!

Meia Gisborn SG

Yah, I picked up the US release of Appleseed. The CGI visuals are stunning, but the story is somewhat lacking.

Here's a quick-and-dirty scan I just did of the front and rear of the GitS:SSS keepcase:

I didn't bother to remove the splashcard on the rear of the keepcase.

the Bear SG

the SAF doesn't know what's going on..

the clerk who called me yesterday doesn't know either

fudgester SG

You called the NSmen hotline already?

av98m SG

*envy*

Neutral

Meia Gisborn SG

And here's the inside of the keepcase, showing the three disks. The soundtrack CD is on the left flap, with the movie and extras DVDs on the right:

(Sorry about the poor focus on the left half of the image--my scanner blurs out anything that isn't right up against the glass.)

the Bear SG

nope.. give them time.. and go through the channels..

this is to allow them to fix the thing properly... escalate through the proper channels.. and if things don't work out... the rope is long enough to hang everyone along the way...

herein, young padawan, i have taught you the ways of being considerate, polite and nice.. and with that, you amass a great destructive force behind you because you have followed their policies and all their policies are found wanting...

and therein, many heads will roll.. including the ones who came up with the policies... Twisted Evil

elindra SG

At least it's not as crazy as going to the MP to complain that the weather is too hot and they should do somethign about it (real complaint)

av98m SG

Yeah, its been hot as hell.

I have a fan running just for the chinchilla alone Laughing

And I have been feeding her bits of watermelon

elindra SG

Mr Pinky Bear is currently doing his reservist and for 2 days he have been complaining to me that he is bored to death as they had been doing nothing except for sitting around

elindra SG

No but what is that crazy singaporean thinking when he filed that complaint
I mean what can the MP do about the weather Shocked
He is not god!

av98m SG

I feel almost sorry for the mp. almost. Laughing

elindra SG

Or maybe it is a hint to buy him an air-con Laughing

Meia Gisborn SG

But he's probably paid like one, and is therefore expected to work miracles. Mr. Green

fudgester SG

Aye, master.... I realise that I am sometimes too impatient to bring forth destruction upon the heads of all those who dare to cross me.

I shall stay in the darkness and let those nincompoops bring destruction upon themselves instead.

Neutral Laughing

hisoka SG
